Lawn Care and Turfing
Turfing is the fastest and most efficient way to create a beautiful lawn in the shortest amount of time. Our landscape gardeners prepare the site using traditional groundworks skills then lay seeded turf of an exceptional quality. Seeding is a better option for lawns with small areas of damage. We can even use swards of grass from your lawn to find a seed that matches well.
While it is possible to create a new lawn entirely from seed, it can take up to 6 months for the surface to fully establish. Turfing only takes a few days at most.
Fine swards of grass work well for a sleeker appearance but require more in terms of ongoing maintenance. A coarse or mixed variety will withstand foot traffic and is the better choice if you have children who play in the garden regularly, or if there are other reasons for expecting physical wear and tear.
ARTIFICIAL GRASS
Artificial grass is a popular choice with property owners in Sussex, Surrey, London and the surrounding areas. Fake grass isn’t a term that does modern artificial lawns any favours. Wildflower meadows attract pollinators, like bees and butterflies, by acting as a food source. A single acre of meadow can contain millions of wildflowers and support close to 100,000 bees daily.
